Expert Investigations:
DJPaA revealed a 2016 cyberattack against the UN aviation agency. The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) was hit by the most serious cyberattack in its history. The IT director engaged in a pattern of obstruction, deception, insubordination, and incompetence in his handling of the ongoing cybersecurity response."
Assisted with a key investigation of Bernard Lawrence Madoff, who was the admitted mastermind of the largest known Ponzi scheme in history, worth an estimated $65 billion
The defense attorney retained DJPaA for digital forensic analysis to prove innocence of a double homicide. The defense requested forensic analysis which DJPaA revealed the execution of those homicides and an additional homicide. Law enforcement was immediately notified of all homicides.
Forensic analysis of sensitive source code was conducted on the application of a large exchange company within the NYSE. The criminal execution was discovered based on the applications hash value and their travel destinations were revealed surreptitiously.
The termination of a system administrator at a financial institution was executed. Digital forensics and investigation indicate the employee had been sexually harassing other employees by sending pornography utilizing corporate email. Subsequent forensic examinations revealed suspected child pornography which halted the investigation and was immediately turned over to local authorities.
DJPaA began Incident Response and Digital Forensics for a large corporation. IT employees were with a very well-known malicious hacker group. The internal systems were customized for hacking-built networks to commit crimes. The prosecution was assumed to be at a high level.
DJPaA forensically discovered virtual machines on the systems that were customized for distribution to other hackers. Also, a large amount of private messaging remnants remained within file structures. These messages reconstructed several previous attacks on foreign and domestic governments and identified key individual’s aliases to real name. This information was furnished to the DJPaA and ultimately to the FBI which led to several arrests.
